Jake Wood played for the University of Wisconsin as an offensive lineman, and after graduation he joined the US Marine Corps. When an earthquake struck Haiti in 2010, Wood and fellow Veterans visited the devastated country. He went on to co-found Team Rubicon—an organization dedicated to responding to natural disasters.
