Chrysler, the originators of the minivan, have decided to continue to push the SUV alternative by extending minivan month into May. The promotion revolves around a 60-day “Minivan Pledge” that allows buyers to purchase any Chrysler Town&Country or Dodge Grand Caravan and return it within 60 days of the original purchase. Chrysler will take back the van no questions asked.

During the month of May there will also be special incentives to go along with the “Minivan Pledge.” Potential buyers can choose from either $2,000 Consumer Cash or special financing that could drop all the way down to 0 percent. This isn’t the first time Chrysler has done such a thing and it probably won’t be the last. It is interesting that this promotion is specifically for the Chrysler minivans as such vehicles like the brand-new Durango are just as capable at hauling around families. It shows that the company still has faith in the minivan and is making honest strides at promoting the seemingly sinking ship otherwise known as the minivan market. With the addition of the new Pentastar V6 and numerous family oriented features, this promotion might just put the Town&Country and Grand Caravan back on top of the minivan mountain.
