With the 2012 model line of Chrysler’s hot-rod Street and Racing Technology (SRT) vehicles ready to hit dealerships, they will begin a tour around the nation to show off just how powerful they really are. For the first time ever, the SRT High Performance Tour will give potential buyers first hand experience behind the wheel of an SRT Chrysler. All four models, the Chrysler 300 SRT8, Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, Dodge Charger SRT8 and the Challenger SRT8 will be making the rounds to some of North America’s most prestigious meets and events.
“We’re excited to take our 2012 Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep SRT vehicles directly to our performance fans and loyalists across the country,” said Ralph Gilles, President and CEO for SRT Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. Along with the four vehicles will be four professional drivers. The team will be responsible for answering questions, showcasing the vehicles and offering high performance driving experiences. For the next four months, the SRT line up will be visiting more than 40 clubs and events. The tour will end at SEMA in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Each of these vehicles is loaded with new technologies and content that SRT customers want to fulfill their need for power, performance, contemporary luxury and safety while maintaining each of the vehicle brand’s key design differentiators,” said Gilles.
