The special edition 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is, put very simply, a race car for the street. With stiff coilovers, massive anti-roll bars, wider tires and a light weight interior with the option of a factory rear seat delete, the Boss 302 is billed by the blue oval themselves as being the best handling production Mustang ever. Further proof of this can be found in a recently added special feature for the Boss: a complementary, real-world track experience called “Track Attack”.

“This is the first program of its kind from Ford. We’re so proud of the new Boss 302 that we wanted to offer owners the opportunity to stretch their legs – and carve corners – on one of the coolest tracks in America,” said Mickey Matus, marketing manager for Ford Racing. The action takes place at Miller Motorsports park in Tooele, Utah. Certified Ford Racing High Performance Driving instructors will be on hand to help Boss owners truly experience what their cars are capable of. “The Boss 302 is such a legendary nameplate, and our latest version is such a tremendous, fun-to-drive car that we wanted to ensure this exclusive group of owners learn all they could about it, and experience its capabilities in the fun, controlled environment that Miller Motorsports Park can provide.”

The evening-to-all day event offers owners a classroom instruction before heading out to the track. The day is spent working out becoming comfortable with driving the 302 to and or beyond its limits and hot laps around the park. Instructors will be with the owners all day, offering tips and guidance. And Boss 302 owners don’t even need to worry about romping on their own cars as Ford will provide instruction models.
