The 2002 lawsuit from thousands of Ford Motor Company Dealers was settled today by an Ohio judge. He ordered Ford to pay $2 Billion to these dealerships for overcharging them for commercial trucks for over ten years (1987-1997).

Ford says they will appeal the court decision.

If Ford loses their appeal the money will be dispersed as follows: $781 million in damages and $1.2 billion in interest. Over 3,000 dealerships would be in for the cash reward after being over-sold on roughly 475,000 trucks.
