Ford Motor Company has been around the block a time or two and recently, they went around one more time by producing their 350 millionth vehicle. For the past 109 years, the company has created what is essentially a vehicle every 10 seconds and the milestone car just happened to be one of their best. The little Focus has been a global success story for more than a decade and for the first half of 2012, it has become the World’s best-selling vehicle.

“If placed end to end, the vehicles would stretch to the moon and back – twice,” said John Fleming, Ford executive vice president of global manufacturing. Being apart of the milestone number should be impressive in itself but, the Focus in question was produced at a rather special facility. The newest global assembly plant located Rayong, Thailand was responsible for the 350 millionth Ford and has only been operation since May of this year. As a global vehicle, the Focus namesake has found 489,616 new owners since the start of 2012 which overshadows the Toyota Corolla by more than 20,000 units. Rather impressive if you ask us.
