Always research the vehicle you want before you step on the lot. Use Autotrader, Edmunds, Nada,

or Kbb

Try to find your own financing so you have some idea what interest rate you can get.

Buy used cars over new because the new car depreciation will already by off the price

Always test drive to make sure you like it

If you don't like the one you test drive. Find one you like but do not buy unitl you go home and

research.

Always pull or have the dealership pull a car fax.

Do not budge the your budget from your budget (researched price or monthly payment) you decided

on. If you spend more than you budget for , you'll never enjoy the car.

Remember, interest rate, warranty, and gap insurance are negotiable

Always be polite and friendly. Bad attitude will get you no where on a car lot.

If you did all your research and you feel good about it, buy it. Congratulations!

I feel like Gap insurance is a waste of money. The chances of you totaling the car are slim. I usually take that chance when buying a new car.
