Our check engine light comes on intermittently (meaning, it kind of comes and goes, though it is present more often than not). When we went to Auto Zone, the code came up as P0300, a cylinder misfire. How likely is it that it needs new spark plugs? Does the intermittent-ness of the light coming on mean anything? A while before, I had to drive the car when it was very low on gas. I heard that could have set the light off; if that's the case, what would I have to do to correct it?
Thanks in advance.
