2003 Kia Rio Transmission problem?

Just recently my car has begun to act up a lil.. and well sending it to the corner for time out isn't working....Ok here goes the question.... When I change gears... yes its a manual... it acts like i'm going to fast for the gear and lags to catch up.... I'm changing gears at 35000 rpms like I always do.. does anyone know what could be wrong? Thanks for reading and thanks for helping )

have the tranny serviced, sounds like it needs a fluid change, it could be a clutch problem but unless you ride the clutch I doubt that it is unless you have allot of miles on the car.


I hope you mean 3500 RPMs because you wouldn't make it to 35000 RPMs as you would throw a rod at 7500-8000 RPMs if the rev limiter even lets you get past 6000 RPMs
