2004 infiniti I35 question?

My friend has a 2003/2004 model infiniti, she was getting both of her belts change when the mechanic could'nt get the belt off. I know on some cars, you need a special tool to take certain parts off, or it may have a certain type of bolt/nut/screw. Does anybody know if you need a certain type of tool to take the belts off a I35?

They are a little tricky, but I have yet to see one that a trained tech couldn't get off, unless and adjuster is completely locked up or something.
