The R8 lineup was treated to some slight restyling for 2013 – new contours to the front bumper and grille as well as redesigned LED headlights and taillights (standard), amongst others. Audi's new digital rearview mirror also will first debut in the 2013 Audi R8 E-tron in small-scale production. The high-tech mirror first was used at the Le Mans 24 Hours in the Audi R18 E-tron Quattro and the R18 ultra racecars.
You can opt for the 4.2-litre V8 FSI, the 5.2-litre V10 or the brand-new 5.2-litre, 550-hp V10, powering the vehicle to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, and reaching a maximum speed of 319 km/h. What’s more, Audi is also offering a new 7-speed, dual clutch transmission, though the 6-speed remains available as well.

The car will be available in all versions of the system stop & start a new generation of e-program to optimize the performance of the engine at constant speed and other technology news. The extensive use of lightweight alloys will allow the car to “weaken” an incredible 400 kg.

The R8 V10 is the maximum performance version of Audi's Lamborghini Gallardo-based supercar. It shares its voluptuous sheetmetal and user-friendly nature with the standard, V8-engined model, but packs significantly more muscle - 525 horsepower, to be exact.
