If you can find a good secondhand air - con unit from a Prelude, then it should fit with no problems.
The Honda Prelude and the Rover 200 series were the same car apart from the Rover's having wood inserts in the dash and other cosmetic alterations.
If Rover hadn't spoilt it's relationship with Honda ( they used Honda engines to replace their own crap units) Rover could still be in business.
