A 1600-kg car travels at a speed of 12.5 m/s. What is its kinetic energy?

The energy for kinetic energy is one-half times mass times velocity squared: 1/2 * mass * (velocity)^2

1/2 * 1600 * (12.5)^2 = 125,000 Joules
