After I release my e-brake indicator still says its on. 2004 Mazda RX8 Manual?

how long has tht been on i had the same prob but goes off after a while and are there any other brake signs on or no becase when it appeared on mine it appeared with a whole bunch of brake related stuff like dsc and abs but urs is probably a bad sensor

the spring that is attched to the pedal is stretched and makes the pedal hand just enough to cause your troubl. get a Mazda mechnic to check it.
