anyone know anything about jeeps?

im thinking about getting a new jeep around 2004ish, just wondering how they do on gas? and if i should get the soft top or hard top?

i get about 17mpg. it's a v6. mine's a soft top, i love it. driving with the top down in a jeep is one of the best parts of owning one. but the soft top can be a pain in the butt, i'm trying to repair a rip in mine right now.

you can go to any dodge dealer and find the info your looking for as far as a soft or hard top....pros, its a little more secure and does provide more protection... con, soft top is easier to get off and on but can be broke into with ease now its all in what you want so happy hunting
