Yes they are good cars. with proper maintanance they can last a very very long time. The only thing to watch for is, that car came with the 3.1L V6 motor that had the intake gasket problem. If your dad is giving it to you is it because the gasket is bad or is it because he wants you to have a good car? Either its not a bad deal because the gasket job is cheaer than buying a good used car. Hope I have been helpful.
