are stretch hummers going to be legal in 2008.?

i had booked a hummer for my wedding though a very well known car hire company and they have contacted me saying that hummers are no longer going to be legal after march 2008 and have given me my full refund off booking back.would anybody know why this is and has anyone heard if this as well.

Really? I have not heard this but was planning the same for my wedding in October. I live in Dubai and am hoping it's a rumour as I don't want to have to arrive at my wedding on a camel!
