I have checked to make sure that nothing is obstructing the sensor and lubricated the important areas however I am constantly at war with the door opening and closing. When I use the remote the door will partly open and then close again. If I quickly stop it and try again I can eventually get the door closed but it takes about 6 to 8 tries before it actually closes. So eventually I win the war but its a frustrating fight! I am in a newer home but not the original owner so there is no manual to be found (or handyman close by!). Have searched the internet for a manual but nothing. Can anyone tell me what I can do without having to incur the cost of calling in for service? Any suggestions are welcome.
As my legacy garage door closes it keeps opening up again. Any ideas?
