Pretty soon, I'll be buying my very first car and I plan on buying a used one because I can't afford (nor do I care for) a new one. I've never done anything like this before. I have sufficient money for a decent used car, and I have good credit, so none of that is a problem, but I want to make sure I'm getting a reliable car.
Since I'm a lady, do you think it wise for me to bring a male along, who knows about cars?
Is there a website that you can look up the year and model of a car to see what problems those cars experienced most?
Should I demand that the sellers get it inspected first?
I really don't know what to do, so any advice would be a great help!
