Can CA driver's license buy WA Auto Insurance?

My sister lives in WA. I moved my car to WA some months ago. My car (CA license plate) is there now. I plan to change my CA plate to WA plate. But I still need to work in CA using my CA driver's license.

My sister has a WA driver's license and WA car.

It means that we will have 2 WA cars , but 2 diffferent state driver's license.

Can we buy auto insurance together ? It means 2 WA cars can have my name and her name.

each company has their own set of guidelines when it comes to this issue. i have some companies that will and some that won't. call an independent agent in WA and see what they have available to you.
