car parts for '85 pontiac fiero?

i'm looking at buying an old 1985 pontiac fiero gt. the owner put a new motor in that has 30,000 miles on it. what im most concerned about is if parts will be available for it in case of engine damage, or should the new motor have updated the variety of parts available? ( i don't know what type of motor he put in, sorry)

Don't worry. There is EBAY and lots of clubs out there for Fiero owners. Also there are web sites for swapping in V8 engines for lots of fun.

The engines used in Fieros are extremely common, beyond your wildest imagination. Don't worry about that for a second.
