The Vette is lighter, and doesn't suffer from the traction problems that have plagued the Mustang for over 30 years...
If you've got an old videotape, see if the commercial Ford did a couple of years ago of the Mustang in the warehouse burning rubber on a wet floor...if you watch carefully, you can watch the axle hopping up and down.
