Do you like the 2008 ford falcon better on the VE commodore?

My dad wants a new car. He either wants a Holden Commodore VE or the 2008 Ford falcon. I want him to get the holden, because i personally like Holdens way more than fords (i mean look who won the V8 supercars round) but my dad can't decide. I thought that someone might know what is better

They are both rather silly cars.

I dont know what cars you have to choose from in Oz but
surely you could find something better.
