I'm considering it because it comes with ON STAR and if the car is ever stolen (I hope not), then they can locate it.
There are several good add ons you can get that will do the same thing as On-Star. The Ion is a typical GM product with planned obsolesence. If I had a choice I would go with the Corolla or Civic for reliability of long term.
