I am getting ready to trade my 2005 Dodge Dakota Laramie 4x4 for a new 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab. My Dakota has been an awesome truck, and has every option offered, plus I put around $1500.00 in chrome, spray in bedliner, and toolbox. The problem is that it is just not big enough for my needs. Does anyone have one of these 1500 Mega Cabs, so that they could tell me what kind of mileage they actually get. I have heard that they get around 13/16 city/highway, so is this accurate. Also what are your likes, and dislikes about these trucks?
The Mega Cab that I am getting is a SLT, not another Laramie. The Laramie was nice, but I do to much work outside with my truck and am to particular about it to mess with leather again.
