Fiat punto only 2 yrs old, inside of the front tyre has gone bald.?

What do you think is the cause of this?, Its only happened on the front drivers side tyre.

the outer part of the tyre has still got good tread but the inner is completely bald..any advice, thanks.
loads of speed bumps where I live.
Its my wifes car, I dont know if she`s clipped any kerbs, I`ll ask her when she gets home, thanks all answers.

Do you go over alot of speed bumps??

Edit: There is loads of speed bumps where I live too and that is exactly what happended to my tyres. Its a bloody expensive nuisance!

Sounds like the tracking is out, or a suspension bush, or a track rod end has been damaged or worn allowing the tyre to `sit` on it`s inside edge.

Has it whacked a kerb or been `potholed` ?

Anyway, get it into your local garage or Kwik Fit and get it checked out.

Oh and make sure they track both sides or your steering wheel will not look right when you are going straight ahead.
