Okay my real question is there any way to get these cars cheap Im in college right now and i am about to graduate in a year. I have a job and i make 800 monthly. My current car is a mitsu eclipse 99 gst. I was wondering is there any way to get these cars cheap and is there a way to finance it. Would i be able to afford to finace one?? I really want one of these cars so bad...I can probably eat or do anything to get one of these cars. My buddy got one and I drive all the time lucky his dad is freaking rich and bought for him.. thankss guys
Also i want it because of the awd capability. My GST sucks in the snow all the boost and alot of slippage

If you are considering a new 2009 Lancer Evo X be prepared to pay. The pricing has been announced and the new EVO MR with the dual clutch transmission will go for $40,000.

On a monthly salary of $800 you can't come close to affording that.

You might be able to get cheap wrx but I think an EVO my be a little to expansive. Plus insurance is high on both these cars(evo is more), to add to the monthly payment. With your eclipse sold away you might get $6,000+/-. Anyway your looking at 450+/- monthly on a USED car. I don't think it is worth it to spend half your monthly income on a car. Get one out of college after tuition and rent is paid off.

The base price for new Subaru Sti 34,995 and for the new Evo it costs 34,000. As price wise there is absolutely no difference. Considering the size of the price $995 is really nothing. However if you want to get a GSR double clutch version of evo, it will cost you 38,000 at least. I recommend you to buy a normal Evo, since it looks way better than the Sti. The new Sti hatchback looks really ugly. Performance wise Subaru is little bit faster, by little i mean really minuscule. If you make 800 monthly I think it will be really hard to afford either of these cars. You will basically wont be able to pay your rent or anything. It will take your whole money away. I recommend you to save up the money as much as possible and look for a used Evo 9 or a STi.

I bought a brand new wrx in 03 of the dealer floor. my insurance actually went down from when i had a 96 nissan 4x4 extended cab truck. The wrx is considered a sedan so it keeps the insurance pretty cheap. Also i paid 25,900 and got 3.9% percent financing with 5500 down. this brought my payments to right in 397 a month. hope this helps and good luck. its a fun little car.
