How can I distinguish I genuine Harley Davidson Cruiser from a Metric Replica?

I know this question is going to draw cristicism from the posers err I mean Metric owners but c mon, the japanese bikes blantantly copy HD's every move.
`Hee Hee the metric crowd is sensitive...must be the fake cooling fins and the imitation plastic chrome colored push rod covers make them feel inferior.

If I had to guess, I'd guess that there's a really good chance that a Harley-Davidson will say "Harley-Davidson" on the sides of the gas tank, and on the manufacturer's data plaque, and on the vehicle title, while a metric bike will say something like Kawasaki or Suzuki, or Honda.
