How do you fix a cylinder head gasket on a Daewoo Matiz?

I have a 1999 Daewoo Matiz and need to replace the cylinder head gasket. I'm having trouble getting a service manual for it, so I'm basically looking for all the help I can get. The more detailed the better. If you only have basic information however, please post - any information is welcome.
Thanks for your replies so far - the work would be carried out by my dad who himself is an ex-mechanic, so knows what he is doing. Just a bit unfamiliar with this car - the spares have been bought so literally just needs to be fitted.
After speaking to my dad, the main query is how to lock the timing gears. If anyone knows this, then he reckons he'd be able to sort out the problem without any further information.

Any help?

It is just a simple gas motor.....
all of the basics are the same.
just pay attention to the torque specs

Since Daewoo has gone the way of the Yugo, I would encourage you to just junk it and buy American!
