I'm trying to disconnect the headlamp multiplug on my Land Rover Discovery II, 2003. But it won't disconnect.
I turn it about 1/4 of a turn counterclockwise looking at it. Then push in and turn it 1/4 of a turn clockwise where the slots are supposed to line up but it won't come out. One of the 'male' pieces appear to be too big for the 'female' slot.
Can somebody advise me what I'm doing wrong.
I have the mechanics manual and it does not explain the details of the disconnect either.
Sorry not sure how to respond to your answer.
I think your answer if referring to the hinge when replacing a bulb.
This not the bulb it's the cable into the headlamp unit.
Note: this is a 2003 model after Ford had revamp't some of the parts of the discovery and the headlamp units were one area that changed from previous Disco's.
