out, now car wont start? HELP!? I got in to a little finder bender that caused the airbags to come out. Everything under the hood looks OK and no leaks. When we put jumper cables to the battery everything worked, but we couldn't start the car. The tow truck driver suggested that the car may have went into"Shock" meaning the car will not start unless a switch has been turned off or on. Is that a possibility? Is there some type of switch that needs to switched in order for the car to start?

You should have a fuel cutoff switch somewhere on your car. Probably in the trunk behind the drivers side carpeting or the back of the trunk. Some cars have them under the dash or in the engine compartment. Find it and push it. If you can't find it then call a dealer and ask them exactly where it is.
