Firstly the buttton thing on the driver door that opens the boot stopped working, then the temp gage didn't work properly, then the button thing on the driver door for the fuel cap stopped working, and then today the alarm was going off which i couldn't turn off. It would start then stop then start again, so i jumped in the car to drive up to the mechanic and the windows wouldn't work. Any ideas? mechanic doesn't know whats wrong and said i need to take it to a skoda dealer, but is this going to cost a fortune to fix.
I have this car for another year then i'm getting a toyota i've been told nothing goes wrong with a jap car
Thanks JD It is a great car to drive and has some serious guts, i do about 70,000 miles a year and this is only the second problem i've had with it.

Apart from the boot opener which is mechanical, all the other problems are electrical which should'nt be expensive to rectify, it's probably a bad connection somewhere.
See an auto electrician.
