I need help on uninstalling a alternator in a 1999 mercury cougar?

if you guys can send me links to diagrams showing me how to install and uninstall the alternator that would really help.

Go to AutoZone.com and click on Repair info then follow the prompts. There will be diagrams, pictures and written instructions. And it's all free.

its simple. just
1)locate alternator
2)disconnect battery
3)take belt off
4)take alternator off
5)install new alternator
6)put belt back on
7)reconnect battery
