its a n reg,now sometimes when its been a eally cold night and i come to start it in the morning,the first start of the day-i turn the key the usual engine fireing sounds then a noise something like a der,der,der,der,dr happens,then stops,it will not do it again then for the rest of the day,like i said this normaly only happens now and again and when its been a frosty night.what might it be ?

Check if you have pressure in the fuel line and if the fuel isn't frozen on the fuel lines or in the fuel pump. A dirt fuel filter could for example "close" the fuel line and that makes the car impossible to turn on.
