If you had $4500 would you buy a newer honda shadow ace 750 or an older aero

1100? (i'm 6' and 170lbs.) Mainly to be used for small town daily driver but also want to make a couple of 200-500 mile trips throughout the year. For example: do i get a 2003 ACE 750 with 8k miles or a 1998 1100 aero with 34k miles? Dependability is a huge priority here and i want to get a bike that will be THE bike for at least 5 years. I've sat on the 750 and it's not uncomfortable for my average size. Will the 750 leave me wanting more power on the highway and wear out before the 1100 engine?
