Is a $127000 Mercedes Benz S Class significantly better than a $42,000 BMW Series 3?

Is a $42,000 Series 3 BMW significantly better than a $21,000 Toyota Camry. I have never riden in a BMW or Mercedes.

yes, you can feel the difference, in everything, the way it handles, the way it feels, the build quality, the materials. plus you get the looks, but if you have to ask, then you probably can't afford it, besides how can you compare apples and oranges

Though the Camry is making it's way to the top selling car in the US, it has gotten horrible reviews by Edmund's and Road and Track. All of these cars specialize in different areas. The Camry is made for comfort and getting you from Point A to Point B. The BMW 3-Series is the benchmark Compact Sedan for a reason. This thing is a rocket and knows how to grip the road like a clawed cat to a rug. The Mercedes Benz S-Class is the Benchmark Full-Size luxury Sedan because it is like riding a mattress that goes from 0-60 in under 5 Seconds. Do I think this is worth the extra money? I do believe the BMW is worth it because it is built better, The Mercedes? Definitely not. Mercedes and BMW have the advantage to get more profit off of their cars because a customer that walks in will usually buy one. Once you get into a BMW, it gets into you, you really do feel it. I own a 3-Series and I can honestly say this is completely true.

ok... Both get you from A-B. The Camry will get you from A-B cheaper. The Mercedes will get you from A-B faster. The BMW is a combination of both.

short answer , yes... theres way more technology in the S-class than in a 3-series. a s-class is in my mind.. miles ahead of a BMW 7-series... which is the comparable bmw(same class). theres too many thigns wrong with your question....where do i start..? but its better in every way... roominess, technology, better ride, handling, power. if these are the two cars youre comparing... whats better a miata? or a convertible corvette?
