I am considering buying a 74/75 Yamaha RD350 (in great condition) and was wondering if it was a decent starter bike? Has anyoen ridden one and can comment on its handling/traffic ability? All of the reviews I read online for them seem to be very positive, but I thought I'd try to hear some other opinions before I commit.
I have ridden a little bit with my old '74 Honda CB360, but never got it above 50mph (due to engine/carb problems and lack of money at the time to have it fixed).
