is insurance optional when u rent a car?

I rented a car a few weeks ago and we waived the insurance, but we had to have proof that we had car insurance. You'd be crazy not to get the insurance if you don't have any. Think about it.... you total the rental company's car...you're gonna have to pay for it. Can you afford it?

yes it is opional but i would totally say yes! you never know what will happen and its all ways good to be on the safe side you know. i mean some one else could hit you then blame it on you and that would be horrible!~!~!~! hope you get your answer!! :)

DONT DO IT your insurance covers the rental car anyways. dont fall for the trick!!!
you cant rent a car if you dont have insurance
