My 2003 Saab 9-3 convertible has the stock stereo. I want to replace that stereo with something that has an auxilery input so I can play my iPod without using an FM modulator (I drive over 35 miles to work and there isn't a good frequency that works the entire way). I went to a car stereo shop and they guy there said it would be a complete custom job and would be very expensive. Has anyone had any luck with one of the big box stores and an off the shelf solution?
