Mk 4 Vauxhall Astra 8 Valve year 2002 cold starting i get a engine clatter

sounds like cam 45k on clock? Its ok after a few seconds but concerns me what damage it could be doing, It has 2 oil changes a year with good oil 10w/40

I'm not sure on the new Astra's but on the old ones,eg, a reg etc it was a sign of cam wear if the oil wasn't changed or left to go low.could just be this cold weather,take it to a garage to get their opinion,vauxhall will prob charge u big £££££s.hope this helps m8
