Motorcycle similar to a Honda shadow that I could find used for about $3000?

I've been looking at the shadow and I love the body style. I can't afford a harley. and it MUST BE more than 500 but less than 800cc's

I'm a novice so I don't wanna jump on a heavy 1100cc bike.
and I'm not interested in the Rebel.
