out of park help!? Is there some way to re engage the shifter or is it broken. How can i get the car into neutral to tow it?
The car originally would not start..thought it may have been the alternator...new battery. Towed it home, it has sat there, through bad weather and now won't turn over at all. Battery was re-charged. Jiggled the shifter and all of a sudden it turned over. Now it won't again. When I move the shifter it does not appear to be holding a gear....very loose. Could it have been this that caused the original problem with not starting?
