My car(nissan 350z) won't unlock?

I used the remote control buttons, they won't work. But also, just sticking the keys into the door and turning won't open either.

But seriously the door should unlock by key, your remote Keyfob could just have a dead battery.

Only thing I could factor in is there's something electronic tied to the door locks that I'm missing, maybe a 350 owner could chime in
