Need help choosing a car: Ford VS Nissan?

The first is a 2003 2 door Ford Explorer Sport with 48000 miles, the other is a 2004 Nissan Xterra SE with 54000 miles. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a 2004 XTerra. The gas mileage stinks, but it's comfortable, good power, nice stereo system, and it looks nice.

I would definitely go with the Nissan. I wouldn't buy a Ford for $5.00.

Many of my co-workers had Explorers, but got rid of them because of all the problems. 48,000 miles is about when a Ford starts to die.

The Nissan will last you a long, long time.

i would def go with the xterra
just because of all the things i have heard about the explorers flipping and stuff
and ford are just hard to work on period
