I went to buy a car today, and the car I've signed up for, I was being told was a PEUGEOT 307 SXI 1.6. Due to a problem with my license, I am to go back on Wednesday to pick it up. Now, when I got home, and put in the registration number for the car to insure it, it came back from the DVLA data base, the car is actually a PEUGEOT 307 GLX 16v. I phoned the garage to tell them, and they said "yes, the last owner must have stuck the SXI sticker on the back, it is a GLX on our books." Thats the first of them noticing when I pointed it out though. Now I don't know if I'm being ripped off or not. I've tried looking to see which is the better car at garage prices, but they're all so different depending on mileage etc... it's confused me even more. Please someone help, do you know the difference price wise, specification wise between the 2 models? I need to know before Wednesday, so I have ammunition to fire at them. Thanks to anyone who can help.
