Pontiac G6 or Chevy Cobalt? Which is the better car?

Ok so i'm plannig on buying a car in a few months and i've narrowed it down to either the cobalt or the G6. I've been reading other answers and the opinions seem to differ on the G6 some say they love it some say it's the worst. With the cobalt, a lot of people say its just a cheap junky car...so which is the better car? which needs less fixing and which one is more fuel efficient??
I basically know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about cars...so any advice is more than welcome...

Hiim! Basically G6 is better looking car in my opinion.
If question was which one is good one mechanically. If you will get 4 cylinder cobalt gives to you fuel economy. But i believe G6 give you more than that!Sport drive ability test good power under your foot!!
But do not forget sport cars needs more expenses in service!
So up to you then.

These cars are not in the same class. The G6 is bigger than the Cobalt. The G5 and the Cobalt are the same car.

Both are awful and much worse than the competition, but if you have to choose between the 2, take the G6.

If you have to buy American, I would recommend the Ford Fusion. It has great reliability numbers and is a good looking car.
Overall, I would look at the Mazda 3 or Honda Civic to best fit your needs.
