...unmarked vehicles? Because people only slow down once they see a police cruiser on the side of the road ready to go. What if police cars could look like regular cars and let's say some guy speeds past one...then the traffic officer can put the sirens on and pull them over. That's really the only effective way to catch dangerous drivers. You can't let them know you're watching. Then, the fear of anyone being a police car would encourage all other drivers to observe traffic laws. It would be for the greater good. Besides, police already do work in unmarked cars when they do undercover vehicles.
