VEHICLE manufacturers are taking every opportunity to promote electric vehicles (EVs).Toyotahas revealed how fleets are accepting of its Plug-In Hybrid Vehicle, and last week Mitsubishi reported that drivers were positive in terms of the operation of its i-MiEV electric city car and Smart’s fortwo electric car. All the vehicles are being tested by fleets as part of a series of UK-wide trials supported by the Government.
