Toyota has worked around the cost of its fuel-cell vehicles by reducing cost up to 90 percent, since last decade. Now it hopes to price its first hydrogen model car for $50,000.

The first model will be a sedan with driving range equal to a gasoline-powered car, “with some extra cost,” However, still there is a big hurdle, that it to cut the cost of making a hydrogen powered car below $1 million mark; where the cost has to be reduced by 50 percent – to be able to meet the expectation and demand in future.
