Well, for starters, you have picked an awesome car. However, there is one major question you need to ask yourself. V8 or V10.

With the two engine options you can opt for the much less powerful 4.2 liter V8, while the 5.2 liter V10 will not only get you where you need to go quicker, but will empty your bank account much quicker as well. Depending on if you want to spend $115,000 or over $195,000 the choice is up to you. For further information regarding specs check out Audi's website.

With the two engine options you can opt for the much less powerful 4.2 liter V8, while the 5.2 liter V10 will not only get you where you need to go quicker, but will empty your pockets much quicker as well. With a price tag lingering around $115,000 the V8 will not disappoint propelling you 0-60 in 4.4 seconds with 430hp. The newer V10 has a major attitude problem pushing you 0-60 in just 3.7 seconds with the serious grunt of 525hp sitting in your back seat.

My personal opinion....
Obviously go for the V10 if you can afford it. You have to look at it like this. Ferrari numbers at Audi prices. This car is a Ferrari beater, and a brother to its engine counterpart, Lamborghini.

If the V10 is out of your price range, don't get down on yourself. The V8 was the only option a couple years ago when this car first came out and made a serious imprint on the automotive world. The V8 is by no means a bad choice! Do what your wallet allows, and keep us posted.

From what I've watched and read about the R8, its more then capable as a performance car. Aside from that many reviewers also say its one of the easiest exotic cars to live with on a day to day basis. Quite, comfortable ride when driven at highway speeds.

I think for the price you really can't beat it. The V8 is still plenty powerful. The V10 is overkill but thats the the point of having the car so it definitely comes down to what you can afford.

its more then adept as a presentation car. Aside from that numerous reviewers furthermore state its one of the easiest bizare vehicles to reside with on a day to day basis.

I want peace of mind while buying any car. My choice would be, buy from a best car dealer. For further information regarding specs check out Audi's website.

Have seen an Audi R8 the other day in my city. Really a hot looking car. but isn't it horribly expensive? and is it worth the high price?

i think Audi R8 is as great it is due to a few reasons. Intelligent engineering, use of lightweight materials and stupendous aerodynamic design. AutoPortal.com
